Our Preschool Program
The St. Mary Preschool Program prepares 3 – 4 year old children for Kindergarten in an environment that ignites imagination, develops character and nurtures faith. We now offer a morning and afternoon preschool session for 3 year olds with LIMITED spots available. Our program maintains a low teacher/child ratio to encourage individualized instruction, and our classroom is large, bright, and inviting. 8:15 a.m. – 11:15 p.m. (Tuesday & Thursday)
Afternoon Session:
12:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. (Tuesday & Thursday)

Early Childhood Education Staff
Our faculty is composed of state certified and degree holding Early Childhood educated staff and complimented by additional teaching assistants. We consider all St. Mary teachers our most important asset. A special thanks going out to our program director, Mrs. Denise Thompson! Our teachers embrace the highest values and emphasize the importance of the social curriculum in relation to the academic curriculum. All students and parents are required to fill out final forms for enrollment.

Our state of the art curriculum is further enhanced by our enrichment activities that are scheduled throughout the academic year. Our parent volunteers help with our classroom parties and are invited to join us on our outings/field trips.
Preschool Goals
- Guide children in recognizing God’s presence in everyday life experiences.
- Help children develop the skills needed to interact with others; work toward a common goal; cope with conflict; and express feelings.
- Expose children to a large variety of books, stories, and writing experiences to develop early literacy skills.
- Provide children with a wide range of activities that promote effective communication.
- Stimulate children to utilize reasoning in problem solving.
